Speech-Language Pathologist

Mia Mosters has worked as a Speech language Pathologist since graduating from UBC in 2004. She has worked in a number of hospital settings in both inpatient acute care and in and out patient rehab. Her areas of expertise are voice therapy, working with adults for swallowing (Dysphagia), language (Aphasia) and speech (Dysarthria) following a neurological event (brain injury, stroke, neurological conditions).

 

Mia is passionate about meeting people where they are at and helping people achieve their individual goals. She particularly enjoys working with clients in their own environments so as to make therapy a functional for their everyday lives.

 

Mia is able to do therapy in English and German. She is able to travel to North and West Vancouver, the sea to sky corridor, Burnaby, Vancouver and the Tri-cities.
