Speech-Language Pathologist

Kate graduated from the Speech-Language Pathology Master’s program at the University of British Columbia.

Kate became interested in the field of speech therapy through an interest in neurology and neurodiversity. She is there to support the client in being the best version of themselves, and she loves to observe how our differences affect how we learn and communicate. Kate has provided individualized therapy to clients with a wide range of speech and communication needs and a wide range of ages. She believes that genuinely appreciating the client’s interests and strengths is the key to client centered therapy and consistent progress.

Kate works with people who have the following conditions: late talkers, speech sound disorders, autism, apraxia (childhood or acquired), genetic syndromes (including Down Syndrome), aphasia, accent reduction, stuttering and ADHD. All therapy with kids is play-focused and designed to be fun!

When not at work, Kate loves to spend time outside with her kids, do arts and crafts, or watch a good movie.
