Speech-Language Pathology Assistant

Janice is currently a student at the University of British Columbia, majoring in Speech Sciences and minoring in Family Studies. She is working towards a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology after completing her undergraduate degree. Her interest in working with children began in high school when she started volunteering for summer camps. Since then, she has worked with a diverse age range, from children in social groups to teens in life skills programs and adults in stroke recovery and aphasia groups. These opportunities have grown her passion for developing meaningful connections and building positive relationships through each interaction. She looks forward to using her knowledge and experience to help individuals improve their communication skills and overall quality of life.
